Getting Started
This manual explains the available installation approaches and common WEBYNX Hosting Panel workflows.
Important: exact PHP requirements, database setup, installer commands and package contents depend on the WEBYNX release supplied to you. Use the release-specific instructions from your provider.
Automatic Installation using install.sh
Use this method only when your WEBYNX release provider has supplied an official, compatible install.sh script.
Steps
- Connect to your VPS using SSH.
- Download the official installer from the authenticated source provided with your purchase.
- Check the script contents before executing it. Do not run an unknown script as root.
- Follow the release-specific installer instructions and enter the requested domain and database settings.
- Open the panel URL, sign in, and activate your license using the supported workflow.
- Test HTTPS, the admin dashboard, customer login and a test website.
Manual Installation using a ZIP Package
- Obtain the official WEBYNX ZIP package and confirm that it matches your license and release.
- Back up the target directory and database before replacing any existing installation.
- Upload the ZIP package to the intended VPS directory and extract it to the documented application directory.
- Configure the web server DocumentRoot to the correct public directory according to the supplied package layout.
- Create the required database and database user using the release-specific instructions.
- Configure the application's database settings without exposing credentials publicly.
- Set the required file ownership and permissions according to the application documentation.
- Configure the panel domain and HTTPS certificate, then open the installation or setup page if the package provides one.
- Complete setup, activate the license, and test the panel and customer functions.
Existing WEBYNX Installation
If WEBYNX is already installed, do not reinstall it just to activate a license or change its domain.
- Sign in to the existing panel using your administrator account.
- Back up the application files and database before making changes.
- Check the configured panel domain, HTTPS status and database connection.
- Open the panel's license page and follow the supported activation or renewal workflow.
- Verify customer login, domain management, database functions and an existing hosted website.
- Keep the existing installation directory and configuration until migration or removal has been verified.
For this WEBYNX deployment, the panel URL is panel.webynx.com.
License Activation & Renewal
- Obtain the license key assigned to your WEBYNX installation.
- Install WEBYNX on the intended server before activating the key.
- Open the panel's license page or the official License Portal.
- Use the supported activation workflow so the license binds to the intended server.
- Verify the displayed license status, plan and expiry date.
- Renew through the authorized license workflow before expiry and confirm the updated status.
Admin Manual
Hosting Plans
Review each plan's configured disk quota, bandwidth, inode allowance, FTP accounts, email accounts and database limits before assigning it to customers.
Customer Management
Create customer accounts through the supported panel workflow. Verify the assigned plan, domain, account status and customer login.
Domain Provisioning
Check DNS, the intended document root, virtual-host configuration and HTTPS before confirming that a new domain is ready.
Service and License Status
Review service status and application logs when an operation fails. Use the license page to inspect license status and renewal information.
Customer Manual
- Open the customer panel URL provided by your hosting administrator.
- Sign in with your assigned credentials and keep them private.
- Use File Manager only within the directories permitted for your account.
- Use the database tools to create, import, export or manage databases allowed by your hosting plan.
- Add a domain only after confirming that you control it and can configure its DNS.
- Check SSL status after the domain points to the correct server.
- Contact your hosting provider if you see a permission, database or license error.
Domains & SSL
- Confirm the domain's DNS records point to the correct server or configured proxy.
- Add the domain through the authorized WEBYNX workflow.
- Confirm the configured document root and web-server virtual host.
- Issue or configure the SSL certificate using the supported server process.
- Test both HTTP and HTTPS, then confirm that renewal is configured.
DNS propagation and certificate issuance may take time. Never assume a domain is secured until HTTPS works in a browser.
Database Management
- Use a unique database and database user for each website when appropriate.
- Grant only the permissions the application requires.
- Keep database passwords private and outside publicly served files.
- Before importing SQL, verify the destination database and keep a backup of existing data.
- If a connection fails, check the database service, database name, username, permissions and application configuration.
Backup & Security
- Keep backups of application files and databases in a separate protected location.
- Test restoration before relying on a backup.
- Use strong unique passwords and SSH keys where supported.
- Protect license keys, private keys, database credentials and server backups.
- Back up configuration files before editing Apache, DNS or SSL settings.
- Review logs and verify syntax before reloading production services.
Troubleshooting
Panel does not open: check DNS, server reachability, virtual-host configuration and web-server status.
HTTPS warning: confirm the certificate covers the exact hostname and has not expired.
Database connection error: verify database settings, user permissions and service status.
Domain provisioning failure: inspect application and web-server logs, DNS and document-root permissions.
License activation error: verify the key, server binding, license status and expiry in the official portal.
Website not loading: check the site's document root and virtual host before changing or deleting files.
